Course Details
English for Young Professionals is an 80-hour course for students of upper-secondary and tertiary school age who are non-native English speakers. It is a 5-level course and provides students with centered, functional and integrated activities that are realistic, interactive and comprehensive. It is geared towards the acquisition of the different language competencies as it strengthens the Young Professional skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing along with vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, useful expressions and other functional activities. It also includes a focus on the learning of British and English-speaking culture. It’s an ideal course for all students who need to sharpen their English skills for work or study.

Expected Course Outcomes
- Listening comprehension to cover most everyday situations in work and leisure
- Effective reading skills ranging from mass media to classical literature
- Intermediate to advanced conversational skill, with a high level of confidence
