Course Details
English for Young Learners is a 60-hour course for non-native English-speaking children in the early stages of literacy. This 3-level, largely play-based course engages the young children in mini-groups, encouraging them to think about and to explore the things around them, individually and collaboratively, helping them to develop the social and imaginative skills necessary for the foundation of language acquisition.
It provides fun, dynamic and involving activities to help the child develop these skills. With a mixture of Cambridge University course books and internet-based activities, it focuses on speaking and listening skills along with some letter and word recognition, stories, songs, puzzles, arts + crafts, colours, numbers and other highly integrated activities. It also provides an introduction to UK and English-speaking culture.
