Learn and Achieve

In line with our commitment to motivate and inspire our students to acquire knowledge and skills, our teaching staff will at all times celebrate achievement and encourage the pursuit of academic excellence.

We recognise, guide and nurture the uniqueness of each child, identifying and building on their strengths, interests and skills, including physical skills. We will enable them to learn to think analytically and creatively, to acquire the self-motivation to work both independently and collaboratively and to show leadership when required.

Self-Esteem and Emotional Wellbeing

The Brightwood School will create a supportive and caring environment for our students, challenging and inspiring them to develop self-confidence and a strong sense of their own identity. Our students will learn to distinguish right from wrong and we will at all times encourage moral and ethical values, such as truth, justice, honesty, loyalty, trust, integrity and a sense of duty.
